The pasta is made by hand and the pizzas are stretched by hand. The menu is broad enough that families find something for every age at the table.
It runs well beyond pasta and pizza — from Italian-style baked oysters to a New Zealand lamb rack in herb gremolata. The four dishes below are a good place to start.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants for authentic Italian food. The Arrabbiata pasta is outstanding the sauce is rich, perfectly balanced, and infused with incredible depth of flavour. Every bite is packed with a delicious spicy tomato taste that coats the pasta beautifully.
Visited with my family over the weekend and everyone left happy. The menu had something for all ages. The food arrived promptly and the service was attentive throughout the meal. I’d say that it is quite worth the price as well. The lamb shank is worth a particular mention.
Our first time today. Had lamb, squid ink pasta and pork cutlets. The food is great! Will definitely visit again ! Mount Austin is a great place for living and eating.
